This position paper outlines strategic recommendations to increase and sustain influenza vaccination uptake in this vulnerable age group using the 5As framework:
- Awareness,
- Activation,
- Access,
- Acceptance, and
- Affordability.
The aim of the 5As framework is to significantly increase and sustain under 5’s influenza vaccination uptake in Australia. By combining more collaborative approaches amongst stakeholders, aligning childhood vaccination policies and fostering community engagement, we hope to build a healthier and more resilient future for Australian children.
