The Immunisation Coalition hosted its 26th Annual Scientific Meeting on February 9–10, 2025, at the Pullman Melbourne Albert Park. This year’s event welcomed over 100 in-person attendees, with more than 400 participants joining online across the two-day program. The event featured 19 expert speakers, including 4 international speakers, with a special guest appearance by Sir Jeremy Farrar, Chief Scientist at the World Health Organization, who delivered a compelling talk on Disease X.
Professor Lou Irving chaired the event, leading discussions on the latest developments in immunisation, infectious diseases, and public health. Professor Paul Griffin and Dr. Rod Pearce AM expertly moderated Day 2 of the ASM, facilitating in-depth exchanges among clinicians, immunisation nurses, pharmacists, researchers, vaccine manufacturers, and public health professionals.
Throughout the two days, the atmosphere in the room was highly engaging, with strong audience participation during Q&A sessions and panel discussions. Both on-site and online attendees posed insightful questions, contributing to lively discussions. The relevance and quality of the talks were widely appreciated, with many attendees expressing how valuable and informative the sessions were.
The Immunisation Coalition would like to thank all speakers, moderators, delegates, and sponsors for their invaluable contributions. Their engagement and expertise were instrumental in making this event a success. We also extend our gratitude to all attendees, both in-person and online, for their participation and enthusiasm.
A special edition conference newsletter featuring summaries of the speakers’ presentations will be published soon. Additionally, recordings of all presentations will be uploaded to our website, with updates announced in our weekly newsletter.
We look forward to welcoming you to the 27th Annual Scientific Meeting in 2026!
